    In FMEA, safe vehicle operation and compliance is covered while we do DFMEA (refer severity rating table).
    It is not clear then why to do FMEA-MSR as it can lead to duplication of work?

    Thansk for your interesting query. Although DFMEA do cover all the possible failures (MACRO Level) but by doing the failure analysis through FMEA-MSR, we are going at MICRO Level to analyse the possible failure when the PRODUCT is in use in the vehicle.
